    Wall Mounted Double Briquette Maker

The wall mounted double briquette maker makes paper briquette making easy compared to others on the market. Simply load up the base with your paper mixture and place the plate into place, position the push device onto the top of the plate and operate the left lever. Water is forced out of the bottom of the tube and the mixture will compress, when the first briquette is compressed remove the pusher tube and fill the remaining space with more mixture, add the second plate and repeat the process. When the mixture is fully compressed remove the pusher and use the final pusher to eject the two briquettes from the maker. The hole in the middle of the briquette helps speed up the drying out time.

This is a fast process; which gets faster the more times you do it; please be cautious of the small and cheaper briquette makers. If you research these you will see many complaints that they hurt your hand; that the briquettes are only small and that it can be difficult to get the required pressure on the handles to force the water out of the mixture.

A little bit of advice for people new to briqutte makers - we always recommend using fresh mixture each time. Stale water smells after some time and the results are not as good as when fresh mixture is used. We recommend using shredded or torn paper, saw dust can be added for a better burn and flour can be used for a tougher mixture and harder briquette.

We also recommend experimenting with different types of paper, most give slightly different results to your briquette. A good idea is to purchase a moisture meter, for best results a reading of 10% or less is required, this is the same for woods.
