Forest Master FM10T-6 6-ton electric hydraulic log splitter with stand
Forest Master FM10T-6 electric log splitter is the perfect machine for splitting your green or seasoned wood. Equipped with a 2200-watt motor the machine reaches 6 tons of force with ease. The FM10T-6 is twice as efficient, due to the pre-fitted DUOBLADE and with the pre-fitted Ram Stop it can save you time. The supplied stand allows you to bring the machine up to a working height, this removes the need to lean over or kneel down.
Featuring two-hand operation and supplied with the workbench and safety guard, using a log splitter has never been safer, once attached the safety guard allows you to split logs and contain them, this prevents any debris leaving the cage, in turn greatly reducing the risk of injury. The safety guard is also different from other designs, by removing the holes on the sides, the possibility of a log damaging the guard is greatly reduced. This also means that the electric log splitter meets the latest safety standards.

Advantage of the DUOBLADE
The DUOBLADE allows the log to be split from both ends, this doubles the splitting capacity of the log splitter, meaning it can tackle wood that a normal 6-ton machine can’t do. When splitting the log sometimes the blade may encounter a knot, if this happens with the FM10T-6 the other blade takes over and splits the log, if a traditional log splitter does this, it could jam the machine, and you will have to free the log before continuing .
Advantage of the Ram Stop
When splitting smaller logs, the Ram Stop allows you to control the return distance of the DUOBLADE so that shorter logs can be split faster.
Advantage of the Stand
Using the stand allows you to work while standing up, as the stand is 740mm* tall, this means the bed of the log splitter is 860mm* off the ground, so there is little or no leaning required. The stand can be removed and dismantled for storage.

I bought myself a very nice wood chopping axe a few years ago and usually spend around a week at Easter chopping logs for the winter. Ran out of time this year and have only managed to get around to it now but couldn’t face a sweat soaked week. Took the plunge and decided to go for a log splitter, went for this one because I have some hefty sized trunks to cut and also didn’t need the caster wheels.
I am a convert. My wife managed to split in an afternoon what I could in probably two days and without breaking a sweat! With the saw horse we bought and this, the pain has literally gone out of wood chopping and we have realized the sense of satisfaction is in seeing the size of the pile, not the chopping!
I was really surprised at how well made it is. It is not flimsy, or just capable, it feels solid and ‘right”. The instructions are clear and easy to follow but it is heavy so having a spare pair of hands to help during the build is worthwhile. Overall, I am very pleased. I spent a while trying to compare and it is difficult to know what you will get but this seems top notch and I couldn’t find anything comparable any cheaper elsewhere.

Truly impressed at the swift (less than 24 hrs) delivery. Although not used in anger yet judging by its ability to demolish a couple of, test, (tough) Fig Tree logs – straight out of the box – it’s very well made/robust and going to be a tremendous asset.
