With an LCT Maxx 9HP 306cc 4-stroke petrol engine, this shredder can easily handle wood up to 3 inches (75mm) in diameter, making it perfect for large-scale projects.

One of the most notable features of the FM9DD is its adjustable chipper drum, allowing for greater control over the amount of material being processed at once and preventing engine stall. This drum can be fully rotated to three key positions, each offering unique advantages:

• The flat angle hopper position offers easier loading and a higher discharge chute, making it suitable for larger pieces of fresh cut or dry wood.
• The regular angle position is ideal for shredding a variety of materials including fresh-cut or dry wood.

• The vertical hopper position is best for processing materials such as brash, cuttings, small branches, and free-fall leaves. This position allows for better control over the flow of materials, making it easier to handle smaller and more delicate pieces.

Additionally, the FM9DD boasts a unique hopper design that stays close to a 1:1 ratio, reducing the risk of blockages and increasing the branch diameter capacity. The feed hopper and exit chute are also designed with a hinged design for easy access to the chipper drum. The twin reversible blades eliminate the need for constant sharpening, making maintenance simple and easy.
