An excellent bit of kit, much better that other manual log splitters I have used. The comprehensive and clear instructions made assembly easy and a 20mm drill bit is included, which you need for drilling a hole in your log base. I have just tested it out splitting 40 logs, it was effortless and all but four logs split without needing the base blade. Dispatch and delivery was as expected.

Easy to put together: the instructions available for download before purchase. Good to be given the wood bit. Takes a bit more force than I was expecting but fine after a bit of practice! Using the bottom blade for kindling is so much better than trying to chop your fingers off.

I’m unable to review the item properly because I haven’t yet had a chance to get it set up and use it but I did quite a lot of research before I ordered and also have seen one in use so I’m sure this item is exactly what I need to split logs with minimum effort at home.
