Delivery Times

Standard deliveries are usually made between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday.

If you require a morning or afternoon delivery slot, an additional charge of £20 will apply where this service is available.

During busy periods, deliveries may occasionally take place later in the day.

Orders Placed Before 3 pm

Orders placed before 3 pm, Monday to Friday, will usually be processed and dispatched the same working day.

Orders placed after 3 pm on a Friday, or during a weekend, will usually be processed on the next working day.

For example, an order placed after 3 pm on Friday will usually be processed and dispatched on Monday, unless Monday is a bank holiday.

Heavy or Bulky Items Over 70 kg

For heavy or bulky items over 70 kg, orders must be placed by 2 pm for processing that day.

Due to the size and weight of these items, palletised shipping may be required. Same-day dispatch for palletised or oversized goods cannot be guaranteed.

Pallet deliveries may also require additional handling time, and a responsible person must be available to receive and sign for the delivery.

UK Mainland Delivery

We provide free delivery to UK Mainland addresses.

Items sent to UK Mainland addresses are usually dispatched on a next working day service, although next-day delivery cannot be guaranteed.

Some areas that couriers classify as Highlands, Islands or remote locations may incur an additional delivery charge. Any applicable charge will be calculated and shown at checkout after you enter your postcode.

Scottish Highlands and Offshore Addresses

Delivery to the Scottish Highlands, Islands and offshore addresses usually takes between 3 and 7 working days.

In some cases, delivery may take longer if the order is passed to a third-party carrier for final delivery.

Please note that postcode classifications are set by our courier services and are not defined by Arrows Corporation Ltd.

Scottish Highlands: Mainland Postcodes

We deliver to the following postcode areas in the Scottish Highlands at a fixed rate where applicable:

AB30 to AB39

Service: next-day where available, or economy delivery in most cases. Economy delivery is usually 3 to 5 working days, although some areas may take up to 7 working days.

Scottish Highlands: Remote and Islands Postcodes

The following postcode areas are usually treated as remote or island locations:

HS1 to HS9
IV40 to IV56
IV63
KW15 to KW17
PA60 to PA78
PA80
PH42 to PH44
ZE1 to ZE3

Service: economy delivery, usually 2 to 3 working days where available.

Delivery charges for these areas will be calculated at checkout. Simply enter your postcode and the website will calculate the applicable delivery cost.

Although we will always try to fulfil orders as quickly as possible, next-day delivery may not be available in all areas.

International Orders

International delivery may be available for selected products and destinations.

You can view the shipping cost to your area by adding your chosen item or items to the shopping cart and using the shipping calculation option at checkout.

Some items may not be available for international delivery due to their size, weight, transport restrictions or product type. This may include certain pre-assembled, oversized or palletised items.

Delivery times for international orders are usually 5 to 7 working days for many European destinations. Deliveries outside mainland Europe may take longer.

Where VAT, customs duties, import charges or local taxes apply, these will either be shown at checkout or may be charged by the relevant customs authority or courier, depending on the destination and shipping service used.

Please check the total cost at checkout before placing your order.

Bank Holidays

Our warehouse, office and dispatch departments are closed on bank holidays in England.

Orders placed during a bank holiday period will usually be processed on the next working day.

Although we work closely with our couriers to manage increased order volumes, delivery delays may occur during bank holidays, Christmas, New Year and other busy periods.

We will do our best to keep you updated with tracking information and delivery notices where available.

Restricted Access

If there are any access issues at your delivery address, please let us know before dispatch.

Examples of restricted access include:

narrow lanes;
low bridges;
weight-restricted roads;
limited turning space;
steep driveways;
gated access;
locations unsuitable for large vehicles or pallet deliveries.

You can provide access information in the order notes at checkout or by emailing us at info@arrows-uk.com.

If we are not made aware of access restrictions before delivery, your delivery may be delayed and additional delivery charges may apply.

You Must Be Present to Receive Your Order

Due to the heavy and bulky nature of some of our products, customers must be available to receive and sign for their delivery.

Our couriers may be unable to leave items unattended.

Your first delivery attempt is usually included in the original delivery service. However, if nobody is available to receive the order, further delivery attempts may incur an additional fee.

We understand that this may not always be convenient, but it is necessary to ensure your order is delivered safely and securely.

If you are unable to be available for your delivery, please contact us as soon as possible so we can discuss the available options.

Damaged Delivery

If your item shows visible signs of damage when it arrives, we strongly recommend that you refuse the delivery and ask the courier to return it to sender.

After refusing the delivery, please contact us as soon as possible so we can arrange the next steps.

Where appropriate, we will arrange for a replacement to be dispatched as quickly as possible.

If you have already accepted the delivery and later discover damage, please contact us straight away. We may ask you to provide photographs of the packaging, the item and any visible damage so we can investigate with the courier.

Delivery Terms and Conditions

All quoted delivery dates and times are estimates only.

Although we will do our best to meet estimated delivery times, we cannot guarantee delivery on a specific date or at a specific time unless this has been expressly agreed with us in writing.

If we cannot deliver your products within 30 days of receiving your payment, we will let you know and give you the option to wait for the products or cancel your order and receive a full refund.

We strongly recommend that you do not book tradespeople, installers or contractors until your order has been delivered and checked by you.

Arrows Corporation Ltd cannot be held responsible for third-party costs, contractor fees, installation charges or other losses caused by delayed delivery, failed delivery or orders that have not been checked after delivery.
