Pet World Vauxhall/Opel Meriva – 2003 – 2010 Car Dog Cage

Our folding car dog cage is suitable for the Vauxhall/Opel Meriva – 2003 – 2010. The unique sloped design, part of a European Community Registered Design, helps the dog cage fit within the boot of your car while maximising the boot space available. A standard dog cage that is not designed for a car has several drawbacks for car use including, front opening doors that do not open past the lip of the boot and the rectangular shape can impede the closure of the hatchback and risk cracking or smashing the rear window.

Our cages can be used outside of the car, they can be used around the home or in offices or anywhere else, this can provide your dog with a place to rest after a long walk or even have their afternoon nap if they are feeling tired. Having a cage around the home or office, also allows your dog to get used to the cage, this provides a feeling of comfort and safety to your dog while inside the cage.

Please send in pictures of your cage inside your boot space, along with the Make, Model and Year of your car, if we use them in our listings we will refund you £10.00, send them to info@arrows-uk.com

This custom built crate for the Vauxhall Meriva fits my 05 plate perfectly with the rear seats in the normal positions and the arm rest down (or the box taken out). The sliding door is much better than having a pull open door as you can get hold of a puppy’s collar before it launches an escape bid. The door does rattle when you are travelling but I’m not sure what the design change could be for that. The one thing I would change is the crate mat. It has a metal frame and a waterproof sheet forming a tray shape. Unfortunately the sheet is very thin and the bars of the crate floor can be felt through the material. I have put a sheet of cardboard between bars and tray and this seems to make a smoother surface for my puppy to lie on.
Overall it is a good product and I feel my puppy is safe in my car.

Firstly communication and delivery was outstanding, so would use this company again and recommend to friends.
The crate fits my meriva 04 like a glove and its plenty big enough for my two terriers. It does rattle whilst driving but nothing me or the dogs cant live with and I found the top opening wont open fully when the crate is in place in the car.
    Overall a great product.
