Product Overview
The Forest Master FM16 8 Ton DuoCut Electric Log Splitter is built for mains-powered firewood preparation, helping reduce the effort of splitting logs for wood burners, fireplaces and firewood stores. It is set up for logs up to 460 mm long, logs up to 600 mm diameter, a 2300W motor.
The Duocut™ blade splits from both ends of the log, helping the machine keep working if a knot is encountered and reducing the need to reload awkward timber.
Runs from a 2300W motor and 220-240V/50Hz supply, making it suitable for home, garage and workshop use where a standard electric setup is preferred.
Available options include Stand: No Stand, Wheeled Stand, so customers can choose the setup that best suits their working height, storage space and splitting routine.

Two Blades are Better than one
Unlike standard single-blade log splitters, the FM16D-TC uses Forest Master’s DuoCut blade to split from both ends of the log. This helps tackle knotty or awkward timber more effectively and reduces the need to pull partly split logs apart by hand.
For regular firewood preparation, it gives you a cleaner, more controlled split and helps turn difficult logs into usable, stackable firewood.
Ready to Use with a Safer Working Area
The FM16D-TC arrives pre-filled with hydraulic oil, so setup is kept simple before your first use. The included workbench and guard create a more practical splitting area, helping support the log while you work.
With the adjustable Ram Stop included, you can also reduce unnecessary ram travel when splitting shorter logs, helping you work through firewood more efficiently.
