How it works
Feed Branches with Ease
Wide chute feeds branches directly into a dual-blade drum.
Chipped material exits cleanly through the side chute for collection or composting.
Adjustable Discharge Chute
Easily rotate the chute for smooth clearance of branches with leaves.
For best performance, use up to a 70/30 mix of branches to leaves.
For higher leaf volumes, using the mulcher kit accessory is recommended.
Common Questions
What oil and fuel does the chipper need?
Our professional petrol wood chippers require 1200 ml of 10W-40 engine oil, although 10W-30 can also be used. The four-stroke engine runs on either E10 or E5 unleaded petrol.
Where is the dipstick?
Our chippers do not have a dipstick. Instead, the engine has a built-in low-oil sensor that prevents it from starting when the oil level is too low. Add the amount of engine oil recommended in the manual before use.
What should I check if the machine will not start?
First, check that the engine contains the correct amount of oil, as the low-oil sensor will prevent it from starting, if the level is insufficient. If the oil level is correct, make sure the hopper safety sensor bolt (part 51) is fitted and properly tightened.
When should I cut my branches?
For the best results, chip branches as soon as possible after cutting, ideally within three days. Fresh wood is easier to process, while older, drier branches produce sawdust when chipped and can dull the blades more quickly.
